Designed with the intention of using sound alone to drive the generation of imagery and typography — an artistic fusion of instrumental sound, dynamic imagery, and expressive motion.
Inspired by an instrumental track, three descriptive words were selected to encapsulate the essence of the music. For each word, twenty-four unique visuals were created — eight by hand, eight digitally, and eight through photography.
A mind map was developed while listening to the song to help discover the words that best reflected the music's mood: Melodic (smooth, blissful, relaxing, harmonious), Layered (builds up, winds down, violin and electronic fusion), and Playful (adventurous, motivating, upbeat, positive vibes).
The visuals were designed to create a 20–30 second animation that would capture the essence of the song while promoting the album's release. A storyboard was crafted to establish a narrative flow, pairing imagery with key text elements. Each section of the song — divided into three parts — guided the sequence and transitions between visuals, enhancing the emotional journey.
When conceptualizing the animation, the goal was to immerse the viewer in the song's environment, gradually revealing its details. As the animation progressed, edits were made to refine the pace: images were removed to allow for smoother transitions, and the first frame was extended to set the tone. The text animations were carefully honed to match the emotional rhythm of the track.
